Peer support is an informal space for surface-level processing, problem-solving, communication or expression coaching, and emotional support. Sessions usually happen in public, walking through a park or over coffee or tea.
I’ll listen while you talk things through, read over that e-mail, share self-regulation and processing tools, and/or aid in making a game plan for meeting your goals or enduring tumult.
This service is offered in the spirit of providing lighter support at a lower cost.
How much are peer support sessions?
60 minute sessions are $60 and 90 minute sessions are $75. Contact me for sliding scale options.
How are peer support sessions different from therapy?
Sessions are public and my support style is empathy and conversation-based rather than drawing on the therapeutic frameworks of my training. The conversation should stay more grounded and regulated than it might in therapy.
Creative coaching is a support wherein we focus on your art. We can address blocks, design inspiring systems, and dissolve prohibitive judgements and expectations around process.
I believe everyone is creative and deserves access to the utility and joy of making things. Some people who may benefit from this are, for example: youth who feel constrained by the evaluative nature of art class, people who say “I’m not an artist”, or art school alumni who feel haunted or constrained by some aspects of their training.
How much is creative support?
The cost of creative support is as variable as its application. Depending on whether you’d like a one-time consultation or ongoing, responsive support, this service can range from $45-$100/hr.
What are some examples of creative support?
Weekly accountability and feedback check-ins to see how your manuscript is progressing, in-person art-making to find the fun in the process, help devising your solo show, or consulting on how to add more colour, whimsy, and texture to the day-to-day (etc!).
Expressive arts therapy is a flexible, creativity-centered therapy that uses a variety of art and craft forms to explore and support your wellbeing.
My style of space holding is compassionate and colloquial. My goal is to use my training to support you in feeling more yourself. I frequently draw on themes like neurodiversity, nervous system regulation, self expression, chronic illness, creature comforts, and humour.
How much is ExA?
60 minute sessions are $100 and 120 minute sessions are $150. Contact me for sliding scale options.
Are you a registered therapist?
Yes. I am registered with the Ontario Expressive Arts Therapy Association. They are the overseeing body for expressive arts therapists in Canada (not just Ontario). My member number is #201.
